Project Architectural Goals

The Glass Pavilion is an exploration of transparency and structural reductionism. Situated on the Malibu coastline, the project aims to dissolve the boundary between interior living spaces and the Pacific horizon. Utilizing ultra-clear low-iron glass and a high-performance cantilevered steel chassis, the residence provides 270-degree views while maintaining a net-zero energy footprint through passive ventilation and integrated photovoltaic glazing.
